Enjoy lake life walking distance to restaurants, bars, parks, & shopping! Outdoor grounds are part of an HOA. Lower patio with grill is shared with another unit just below this one. Pontoon rental available in summer. HOA requires liability waiver for all adults. 1 dog under 30lbs ok with $150 pet fee. Lake has a sandy bottom, but seaweed grows where shallow. The laundry room is a flex area with a desk and two fold our chair beds. Townhome is small but well designed. One off street parking spot

Good to know

Stocked for your convenience in the kitchen and for cleaning supplies. Hooks and open shelves are everywhere for easy access. Transforming or foldable furniture creates flexibility for smaller or larger groups. Extra appliances include: *Insta-pot *Coffee maker *Hot pot for boiling water *Toaster *Microwave *Cordless vacuum cleaner *Iron *Hair dryers *Wall a/c on main floor. Bedrooms each have a window or portable a/c. Kayaks and paddleboards are available for use free of charge. Extra life jackets are in a deck box. Pontoon available to rent in the summer. $200 for first day rental, $100 for each day after. Three disc golf baskets are on the property. Discs provided.

House Rules

No food or drinks on the 2nd floor carpeted area. Noise monitoring is used to ensure enjoyment for all guests and neighbors. Keep white towels indoors. Only park in assigned spaces. If anything is moved, put it back as you found it. Clean the grill if used, supplied are underneath the grill. Pets: 2 cats or one dog maximum. Dog breed restrictions apply. Prior to check-in: 1. Waiver and additional information sheet must be signed by all adult guests. 2. Copy of gov’t issued photo ID required. 6 adult guests and children under 12 are included in the price of the stay. There is an extra fee of $20 per person per night for extra guests above age 12.

Other Details to Note

At the end of July when the water get warmer the lake “blooms” with algae. Our less than five star reviews have been because of this and not having a resort quality beach . Please judge our place on the accommodations, we cannot control the water quality and the HOA prioritizes a natural shoreline. Our kids swim off the dock and have fun in the water, but if your kids are used to swimming pools they may not like to swim here. Always wear water shoes. In the office/den is a Haworth Zody Office Chair built for all day office work. Pet Policy: A one-time non-refundable pet fee of $150 is required for guests bringing a dog. Only one dog is allowed per stay, with a maximum weight of 30 pounds. No cats or other animals are permitted.

We enjoyed our stay! Kati and family have a great place! It was clean, provided necessities, and looked like the pictures. Kati was proactive with information and her FAQ list was used and appreciated. We also enjoyed having the use of the kayaks and paddle board. It was so peaceful to start the day having coffee on the deck looking at the lake. I would definitely stay again!

We so enjoyed our stay at Kati’s home. The beds are super comfortable and the view can’t be beat! We enjoyed swimming and fishing from the dock. We would love to return!

This was a great place for our family. Nice common spaces and good bedrooms too. The view is beautiful out the back door looking out to the lake. A few of us enjoyed the kayaks that are available for use. The hosts were very responsive to any messages/questions we had. Two parking spaces and free street parking (during the summer). Nice stay, would recommend!

Kati’s place was beautiful. There was so much to do that our three girls didn’t ask for there device one time from arrival to departure. We really enjoyed kayaking and looking for fish. We didn’t have much luck fishing but we so enjoyed the family time together. We enjoyed camp fire one night with smores. The place is beautiful and well organized. We saw an eagle, blue herons, turtles, and an otter.

We came for a girls getaway and had a blast. The house met all of our needs, and there were so many thoughtful touches around the place. For example, so many hooks to hang all your towels and suits and bags which was needed. The beds were very comfy, and everything was clean. We partook of the kayaks and the dock and swimming, and also explored the cute little town. As others have said, sometimes the lake blooms in late July, and we were there when that happened. There were little green things floating in the water that made swimming a little disconcerting, but we were assured it was harmless. After it rained, those little things went away, so that was great. While there were many other guests around the area, we rarely heard or saw them as it was such a nice and quiet place. Thank you, Kati, for making our stay great!

Kati's Place was the perfect spot for our family to celebrate our youngest son's birthday. The house was clean & comfortable with plenty of beds for everyone. Just minutes from restaurants. A beautiful view of the lake. Very peaceful and relaxing. Although the weather wasn't in our favor, I appreciate all the outdoor activities available for us to use. Highlight of the trip was seeing our sons fishing off the dock! They caught a variety of fish and were excited to be out there every minute they could. Which made this Momma very happy they were outside and without a screen/device! Kati's spouse was onsite working next door and was so nice. Very pleasant to talk with and shared some of the events happening in Pine City. So we did venture out to a classic car show at the Freedom Fest. We loved the area and hopefully will be able to come back for another visit and utilize the pontoon! Thank you for sharing your space with us.

Kati’s place is a great value and right on the lake! We had a great girls weekend here. While there isn’t a TON to do in Pine City, you can walk to the few places downtown including a brewery and there are many wineries, touristy towns and hiking in near by places. Kati’s place was clean and had alot of sleeping areas! The owners do live below but that didn’t hinder any of our plans or anything. We enjoyed mornings and evenings on the deck and playing games at the large kitchen table at night! Perfect spot for a girls weekend! Kati is very responsive! We’d choose Kati’s place again if we come back to Pine City!

We enjoyed our stay at Kati’s place. The house was clean and had plenty of supplies, from kitchen, to bathroom and living room. To name a few, plenty of coffee, towels and beach towels. etc. I appreciated those white towels, bed linens and plenty of space to hang clothes. The townhomes were shared in common areas and we were able to still have a quiet and peaceful time. Some lake houses have so many hills and stairs to climb but not this one, only a few. You will appreciate it, we did. Our patio was on the upper level which we enjoyed so much just sitting out there in the morning watching the sunrise and having coffee. We also went for a walk with our kids to the park. They really had a great time both at the lake and park. And last but not least, Kati, is definitely a 5 star for me. Kati was so responsive and friendly when I needed a quick answer. Overall her home is a beautiful place to relax with your family when you are looking for a getaway from home.

Kati’s place was the perfect find for our mini-moon! Clean and comfortable with modern decor, all the essentials + extras like kayaks/paddle boards, hammocks, board games, etc. we rented the pontoon and enjoyed 2 days exploring both lakes! Kati was highly responsive and friendly which is always helpful! Also our doggo LOVED every minute being with us which we were grateful for! We will definitely be keeping this place in mind for future stays! Highly recommend ☺️

Cars, Walking, and Bikes all work well to get around. Onsite cars are limited to two. Cars are towed at night for on street in the winter, so avoid that. There is a bike rack for locking bikes you may bring.
